What comes to mind when I say 9 months? I’m guess you are thinking that that’s the amount of time it takes to grow a human baby. For eager parents-to-be, I imagine it feels like an eternity. Well, that’s how long I had to wait to see what it was that I grew to be born! Last July my creative muse came to visit, and during a two week period, after a little inspiration from a garden center friend in Pennsylvania, I created a whole bunch of BRAND NEW workshops, complete with some really, really cool pictures. But I had to wait, and wait some more. Because many of the plants I used in the new classes need warm weather. So I couldn’t put many of them in the early spring workshop list. But this proud mama is excited to introduce Bacon in the Breeze, Summer at the Beach, Ketchup and Fries, and Living Fountain. I am also particularly proud of the new duet of black-eyed Susan vine with the black sweet potato CLIMBER, Black-Eyed Bloom Trellis. The hanging baskets of the combination that we are growing in the greenhouse are so huge it looks like a jungle! And I FINALLY found a pre-cut wine bottle to do a succulent garden in. We debuted the class at Halligan’s Bar in Auburn to great success! Lastly, we added two more classes of the Hummingbird Café class, as we SOLD OUT 4 classes in May already. Please join us this spring. We promise you won’t be disappointed.
