A strong grower with lustrous dark green leaves
resistant to leaf tatter in the wind. Dense Heavy crown develops at an
early age. ‘Commemoration’ is more resistant to urban conditions than
many other Sugar Maples. ‘Commemoration’ attains its fall foliage color
up to a week or two before other Sugar Maples.
