Bloomerang® lilac is a remarkable new lilac with fragrant purple flowers that burst forth in spring and then again in mid-summer and continue right up until frost.
It has a compact, full growth habit and small leaves that make it the perfect shrub for smaller gardens.
We tried to buy about 300 of these for spring 2010. We were only able to get 30. When they are gone, they are gone! We have seen really young sizes of this plant listed for $45 (with economy shipping) at some mail order nurseries this spring. We are selling our for $49.95 and they are probably about 5 times bigger. These will be available starting Saturday 4/17/10 for pickup at Bemis Farms Nursery. The surest way to be able to have one is to go to our web store and buy one today for pickup later this week. 5/11/2010 update: We are sold out until fall2010 or spring 2011.
Hardiness: USDA Zone 3 (That's Vermont at the Canadian border)
Bloom Time: Spring, Repeat blooms from mid-summer until frost
Bloom Color: Rich purple in bud changing to lavender-purple in flower

A remarkable new reblooming lilac with a heavy spring bloom and strong rebloom from mid-summer until frost. The flowers are wonderfully fragrant. Now you can enjoy your lilac in the spring and again in summer to fall.
This is a great plant to include in the home garden. It provides vivid color in spring and mid-summer onward. Excellent mildew resistance.
