Scarecrows for Solutions 2010 was a major success! Thank you to all who participated in every way. Over $5,600.00 was raised for local non-profit organizations. If you would like your organization included in 2011 let Tina know.

Stuff a life-sized scarecrow with hay. Then accessorize him with patches, scarves, hats, and other cool decorations.

The entire $15 fee will be donated to the non-profit organization of your choice:

Scouts, Schools, Scholarships, Benefits, Youth Groups, Research, Food Banks, and more.

As of 4 am on Sunday 10/9 there was still room in the 10/9 session for folks to preregister. Online ordering is disabled, since the time is so close. Please register by phone 508-885-4247 after 8 am Sunday. This way we can be sure to have a space for you.

You need to pick a day, but not the time you are coming. Just show up anytime between 10am and 4pm. You can pick the organization you would like to support on that day.

Everyone on our farm feels very proud of this activity, and we are thrilled to be able to emphasize the "fun" in fundraiser!

If you don't want to make a scarecrow, but would like to participate, we are accepting donations of old clothes, especially pants and long-sleeved shirts. Bring them to the nursery anytime.

Participants will leave with a completed scarecrow, a sense of accomplishment, and the knowledge they did something good to help the community.

Please note the photo is similar to the final project, though there may be some differences, due to materials availability, personal tastes, and creativity.
