This page is for all the first grade students who have gotten a River Birch Seedling. As we get pictures I will post them here.
I have gotten a few notes already:
From Brandon: Dear Mr. Bemis, Thank you for the show. It was the best show. I loved it so much I was quiet the whole time. I love the tree so much. I will plant it when I get home and water it.
From Tyler: Dear Mr. Bemis, Arbor Day is all about trees and plants. I so love to plant. I planted daffodils and roses and sunflowers.
From Lauryn: Dear Mr. Bemis, I’m going to use my tree for a tree house. I will it with the art stuff.
From Shane: I am going to plant my tree today. Then, I’m going to water it with a whole gallon of water.
From Abigail: Dear Mr. Bemis, My whole family loves planting seeds. Today I am going to plant my tree. I love planting!
From Dave: Thank you for the show and tree. I am going to plant my tree today. I named it Tee.
From Trinity: I planted silver Birch and when it’s grown it’s bark comes off I will make a horn for my dad called deere.
From Nick: I will make a tree house from the tree.
From Sara: You can plant trees and flowers. You can plant any plant you want. Planting is fun!
From Eric: Dear Mr. Bemis, I will water my tree every Wednesday and I’ll name my tree Green.
From Shannon: To Mr. Bemis, I’m going to plant my tree near the woods. I will water it once a week. I will sit under it.
From Zakary: Trees start as a seed and grow into a tree. The tree grows leaves and in the winter the leaves fall off the tree.
From Ben: I know that the trees are as tall as the ceiling. I know what I am calling my tree. His name is Spiderman and his nickname is Spide.
From Faith: Dear Mr. Bemis, Trees start like little plants. My tree is named Karra.
From Karra: trees are helpful. Trees can make this world better because you can make a tire swing.
From Hunter: Dear Mr. Bemis, I love planting plants so much.
From Nathan: To Mr. Bemis, one day I planted a sun flower but my mom ran it over. I thought it was still alive but it wasn’t so I planted some plants around my house.
