Do we really leave with a finished project for the price listed? What's the catch?

Yes, you really do. There is no catch. We have gotten good at figuring out how to do it. We enjoy what we do and like to be able to share it with everyone.

What is the difference between the regular workshops and the deluxe workshops, besides $10?

The deluxe workshops often have a reusable portion. For example the Seasonal Sleigh has the sleigh that can be reused from year to year, the Winter Pond has a mirror and dried floral wreath that can be reused. Some may have more expensive materials, or a larger finished size. It all depends on the specific project.

Is the catered lunch for the Colonial Christmas Creativity Day any good? I am a picky eater.

The lunch is delicious. We try to choose a relatively mainstream dish and jazz it up a little. Soda, coffee, and water are all available. There is also a maple cheesecake and maple apple tart for desert, these are both "to die for". As good as the workshop is, for some people the lunch is the best part!

How long is one class?

It depends on which project you choose. Anywhere from an hour to an hour and 45 minutes. Please feel free to call or email if you have any specific questions on time.

The regular classes are $29 each, but drop to $25 if I take three or more. What if I want to sign up me and two friends?

The $25 is when one person signs up for three or more classes. You and two friends would be $29 per workshop.

What if I sign up for a regular workshop, a deluxe workshop, a and an All Day workshop? Does that count as three workshops?

Yes, the regular workshop is then $25.

What days and times are available for Circle of Friends workshops?

We do not have an online calendar at this point. Most any time that we do not have a class scheduled can work. After that it is pretty much first come, first served, so the earlier you call, the better the chance of getting the date you want. There are a handful of times we keep open for snow dates, or for extra sessions of workshops we think will be popular. We have quite a few openings for after school groups at 4 or 5 pm.

What times would you hold a Circle of Friends class?

It is up to the group. We are very flexible in this regard. We have a lot of Saturday and Sunday times still open in December.

What is the earliest you would start an Circle of Friends evening class?

Any time you want. We have teachers groups and youth groups who come for 4 pm because it fits into their schedules well.

Do you ever do these workshops off site?

We do workshops off site at certain times of the year. It is more difficult to do so over the holiday season, but we have a little bit more time to go off site after December 10th. So an indoor centerpiece, as opposed to a wreath, would be easier at your location. Workshops like wreaths, which have a lot of greens, tend to be "messy" as far as the facility is concerned.
