It's finally time to make some great containers that you can put outside! Whether you are a beginning gardener or a seasoned grower, there is something for everyone in this spring's classes. Some of this year's classes feature perennials and shrubs, so that when the flowers have finished for the season, you can take apart you pot and plant them in your garden.  You'll not only have had a season of blooms in you container, but years of enjoyment as you perennials grow and multiply, and your shrub gets bigger every year.

Cinco de Mayo $29 / $25 Celebrate the pending anniversary when Mexico prevented a French invasion by planting dahlias (Mexico’s national flower) to tower above French marigolds. This was one of the most popular classes of 2005, so we brought it back again. The dahlias we use are "dinner plate" dahlias, with giant, exhibition-sized blooms.  They make a tuber by the end of the season (like a potato) that you can bring inside for the winter, and store in a bag of peat moss.  Divide it next spring for an even bigger display of color.

We have scheduled a second one on Sunday, May 6th at 5 pm.
