Ed Bemis, attended the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and Cornell
University, graduating with a BS in Landscape Horticulture. With his wife Tina,
he operates Bemis Farms Nursery, a retail nursery/garden center in Spencer,
Massachusetts. Ed, a Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist, has taught
horticultural classes at Becker College and the University of Massachusetts –
Amherst and has written for American Nurseryman magazine. An avid tree and shrub
enthusiast, he is a past Board member of the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape
Association, and past Chair of the Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist Board.
